-supporting appropriate housing options, including for seniors and local workforce.

Invest in infrastructure that keeps pace with demand and improves quality of life.
-Maintaining and upgrading roads, drainage and public assets
-Supporting active transportation (trails, cycling, pedestrian safety)

MEET ERWIN

Erwin Wiens is a dedicated public servant with extensive experience in municipal leadership, operations and community development.
Known for his collaborative approach and steady leadership, Erwin has played a key role in guiding strategic initiatives, supporting staff, and ensuring effective service delivery for residents. His work is grounded in transparency , accountability, and a commitment to building strong, sustainable communities. Through thoughtful decision-making and a focus on long-term planning, Erwin continues to contribute to the growth and success of the municipality he serves.

IRRIGATION & AGRICULTURAL INFRASTRUCTURE
Strong involovement (and leadership role) in Regional irrigation initiatives.
Advocacy for long-term water infrastructure to support farms and vineyards
Involved in irrigation planning for over a decade and holding seats on irrigation committees at both Town and Regional level.


Protect Niagara-on-the-Lake's agricultural heritage and natural environment.
Focus on:
-Supporting the viability of farms and agri-business
-Balancing on-farm diversified uses with land preservation
-Protecting green space, water resources, and tree canopy.
